❄️ When Love Begins on the Slopes

Jacquelynne and Lukas met during a snowboarding trip, thanks to a mutual friend. Picture this: crisp mountain air, laughter echoing across the slopes, a shared sense of adventure and somewhere in between the snowflakes and adrenaline, a spark quietly began to grow.

It wasn’t an instant “movie scene” kind of moment. It was real, genuine connection, shared smiles, and that warm feeling that maybe, just maybe, this person could become something special. Spoiler alert: they did. ❤️

💎 The Proposal That Melted Our Hearts

Fast forward to a few years later, and Lukas had a plan. After Jacquelynne went to a comedy show with her friends, he told her he wanted to plan their own “comedy night” date. Sweet, right? But what she didn’t know was that Lukas was secretly organizing the most romantic surprise of her life.

He suggested they grab dinner first at their anniversary restaurant, Orange Hill, a place that already meant so much to them. The waitress led them past every table in the restaurant, and Jacquelynne started wondering why… until she saw a beautiful private table, set just for the two of them, overlooking the city lights.

As she looked at the menu and chatted about which drink to order, Lukas smiled and said, “We’re not going to a comedy show tonight.” Then, he stood up, walked around the table, got down on one knee, and asked her to marry him.

Of course, she said YES! 💍

But wait, it gets even better. Lukas had planned one more surprise. As they hugged, he whispered that both of their families were waiting inside to celebrate. Behind those doors, a ballroom filled with their closest friends and family was ready to toast to their love.
